How much bond do I have to pay?
We take a refundable bond on all rentals which is $200 – $500 depending on the vehicle. This bond is refundable provided the vehicle is returned on time in the same condition as it went out.
The bond can be payable by cash, eftpos, or credit card.  We do not accept cheques.

Do you have onsite parking?
We have short term parking for pick up and drop off ONLY, however there are local streets nearby where you can leave a vehicle longer term.

Do you do one-way hires?
We are an Auckland only based company and at this stage only provide rental vehicles on a return to base contract.

How old do I need to be?
We have a minimum age of 21 for all drivers.

What sort of licence do I need?
We require that all drivers have the equivalent of a full New Zealand drivers’ licence. We will accept on a limited basis a NZ restricted licence however higher insurance excess applies.
We accept licences from all around the world provided that they are in English or that they are accompanied by a certified translation. you can refer to the NZTA (NZ Transport Authority) website

What credit cards do you accept?
Currently we accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex

… and of course eftpos / debit card

What happens if I do not have a credit card?
We will accept a cash bond - please phone for details.

What happens if the vehicle I rent breaks down?
All vehicles are covered with 24x7 roadside assistance and if the vehicle cannot be repaired within a reasonable period of time, we will replace it. (some minor conditions may apply)

What happens if I need to cancel the booking or return my car rental early?
If you return you vehicle earlier than expected then a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required before any refund applies.
We require at least 48 hours’ notice of cancellation. If you do not advise us that you wish to cancel your booking then we reserve the right to charge you a minimum 20% cancellation fee in the event of a cancelled booking of less than 48 hours without notice then a 100% cancelation fee will apply.

Do you charge for additional drivers?
No, we don’t. When you pick up your car rental you can add as many drivers to the rental agreement without incurring any additional charges.
 
Can I collect the vehicle at Auckland Airport?
We have an arrangement with one of the leading Park and Ride services at Auckland airport allowing us to offer both pick up and drop off 24/7/365 … so no matter what time of the day or night you are arriving, even on Christmas Day. An additional charge applies for this service.

Are you open on Public holidays?
With the exception of Christmas day our office in Kelston is open from 8am to 5pm every day and as stated above our Auckland airport operation never closes.

What if I cannot find my licence?
if you are unable to find your driver’s licence then we would be unable to assist with your rental as both Police and Insurance regulations require us to sight a valid current licence prior to you driving the rental vehicle.
