For those of our customers who want the economy of a smaller car but want the space and flexibility that an economy station wagon offers James Blond Ltd have a fleet of mainly Nissan Wingroad wagons that have 1500cc engines designed to give fuel efficiency but at the same time provide adequate power for you and your companions to travel in comfort and style.

No matter where you are heading in New Zealand we have you covered with our roadside assistance programme and like all of our rental cars these economy station wagons come with unlimited mileage, GST and standard insurance included in your rental costs.

If you are planning to visit the South Island in your economy station wagon then James Blond Ltd have an agreement with the Interislander ferry service to offer you our customer wholesale rates on your ferry crossing but still with the flexibility to change your dates if needed.

Your economy station wagon can also be waiting for you at Auckland airport no matter what time of the day or night you arrive or even if you are travelling on Christmas day there is no need to wait to collect your car. We can also deliver to your hotel or motel so that the car will be there when you need it or you can simply collect your rental car from our office.

With a capacity of 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children (and we have car seats available if needed) our economy wagon range will allow you to put that extra suitcase or tent into the cargo area that will not fit into a standard car and yet still have the car achieve a fuel economy of around 7.5 litres per 100 kilometres driven in a combination of city and open road driving.

Whilst out vehicle fleet is constantly being updated none of the vehicles in this range are older than year 2001 and most are newer than that. All of our rental cars are serviced and maintained to the highest standards in our own dedicated workshop, however should the unexpected happen and we cannot have the car repaired or replaced within 24 hours then  your whole rental is free we guarantee it!
