3 Ton Box Truck    

For those of you with a class 2 licence requiring a bit more load space and a larger engine then our 3 ton box truck gives you these things with our largest 3 ton box truck having a capacity of 18 cubic metres and an engine size of 4100cc this Toyota Dyna will get you where you need to go on time and on budget.

The floor area of the trucks varies between 4200mm and 4500mm long and 1800mm to 2000mm wide with the height of just under 2000mm. and all trucks in this class are solid sided with no curtain side trucks available.

With rental rates from as short as 2 hours (except Saturdays) to as long as you may require the truck and monthly rental rates are available on request. James Blond Ltd have a pricing structure that will work for you and your budget. All of our pricing include GST and insurance whereas most other rental companies add this to your rental costs.

On a Saturday we offer 4 hour bookings either from 8am to 12pm or from 12.30pm to 4.30pm we will not vary these times and if you need the truck for longer or wish to pick up at say 10am then an 8 hour hire applies.

If you are planning a trip to Wellington or some other distance similar then we offer unlimited kilometre rates so you can plan with some certainty your costs upfront with diesel then being the only variable. When you return your rental truck you can refill onsite with from our onsite diesel tank saving you that trip to the petrol station and the costs are taken out of your bond, so it’s very easy.

Trucks in this class of rental are fitted with either interior tie hooks or Z track so your load can be easily secured inside the truck however you will provide your own restraints as we do not hire these. We do however rent trolleys to make transporting your load to and from the truck just that bit easier.

We are open 7 days a week from 8am to 5pm and are only closed on Christmas day so if you need a truck we are here to help.
