2 Ton Box Truck

Here at James Blond Ltd we have a wide range 2 ton box trucks that are suitable for a wide range of uses and with one of the widest ranges of rental times available to our customers from as short as 2 hours through to monthly rentals on request we are here to help you with your 2 ton truck rental needs.
 

Most of our customers use the trucks for shifting house and Saturdays are an extremely busy day for us with all trucks usually booked out a few days in advance so if you are planning a house move on a Saturday then an early booking is recommended. On a Saturday we have a 4 hour minimum and all 4 hour hires must fall within the time slots 8am to 12 noon or 12.30pm to 4.30pm  anything outside these times will constitute an 8 hour hire.

Rental prices in this class include 100 kilometres free from mileage charges per day or part day  hired so if you rent for 3 days then you get 300 kilometres free from charges our prices also include GST and insurance things that most other rental companies add  to their basic costs. Our insurance cover does not cover you for damage caused above the height of the drivers cab so you need to be aware of this when manoeuvring close to overhangs etc.

The deck size of these trucks is 3100mm long and 1600mm wide with an interior height of between 1800mm and 1950mm making a total useable area of between 9 and 10 cubic metres making them easy to drive on a car licence with an overall footprint not much larger than the standard car. We do also these trucks to be driven on a restricted licence provided they are driven within the terms and conditions of that licence.

For those of you planning a long distance rental then we offer unlimited kilometre rates and also have a couple of our smaller trucks that can be taken on the Interislander ferry service to the South Island should you so desire.

With a range of curtain side trucks also available in this class of rental truck you can load pallets of stuff from both sides making for a very versatile truck.

We are open 7 days from 8 am to 5 pm.
